CLASS RULES AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. 01. PERSONAL CLASS BOOKINGS

Each booking is for one named participant in one specified session. Each class costs R250 per person. A person attending several classes must book and pay for each class. There is no unlimited class pass or automatic multi class discount.

  2. 02. CAPACITY AND DURATION

Each scheduled class is limited to 60 participants and is planned to last 1 hour 15 minutes. Instructors and authorised support personnel are not additional bookable participant places. A safety decision may require a lower operating limit or a change to the programme; affected customers will be told about their options.

  3. 03. WHAT IS INCLUDED

A valid class booking includes general event admission for that registered participant. It does not include other classes, race participation, merchandise, food or other extras unless expressly listed. A spectator ticket or race entry does not itself include a class. Each accompanying person needs their own applicable admission arrangement.

  4. 04. ARRIVE READY

Be at your designated class check in point, ready to participate, at least 10 minutes before the start. Being elsewhere at the event or holding a general admission scan is not class attendance. Have your personal QR code ready and complete the required participation form before reporting. Follow staff directions while the exercise area is being cleaned or prepared.

  5. 05. LATE ARRIVAL CUTOFF

If you have not reported in person by 10 minutes after the session starts, you forfeit your right to that class place. FAMREPS may allocate the released place to an individually registered standby participant. You cannot demand the place back, join another class without booking it or require the session to restart. Arrival within the first 10 minutes does not guarantee immediate entry if a safe entry point or additional briefing is needed.

  6. 06. ARRIVAL RECORDS AND ORGANISER DELAYS

Tell the class queue marshal immediately if you are present but waiting for scanning or assistance. A recorded arrival in the designated class queue is considered when applying the late arrival rule. FAMREPS will not treat a documented delay caused by its own scanning or admission process as your absence. If the organiser announces a delayed start, the reporting and release times move with the confirmed revised start. Staff record any correction or exception; a disputed record is reviewed using the available evidence.

  7. 07. NO TRANSFERS OR SHARED PASSES

You may not transfer, sell, lend, share or exchange your class place or QR code. Another person cannot participate under your name. Every participant is registered, covered by their own required acceptance and scanned individually. A genuine spelling or contact correction for the same person can be requested through support; it is not a participant replacement.

  8. 08. PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION

A selected class or payment screenshot does not guarantee a place. A place is confirmed when the approved payment process and allocation are complete. Follow the booking status rather than making repeated payments. Staff do not accept informal payments to bypass registration, the class limit or the personal form requirement.

  9. 09. PARTICIPATION FORM

Every participant must complete the applicable individual indemnity and risk acknowledgement through the FAMREPS registration system. A purchaser cannot provide another adult's personal signature. Where a class permits children, the required parent or legal guardian acceptance applies to each child. An earlier spectator acknowledgement does not itself cover group exercise participation.

  10. 10. MULTIPLE CLASSES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Choose sessions that leave enough time to finish, move between areas and report at least 10 minutes before the next class. Do not book overlapping activities. Several paid bookings do not guarantee that every combination is suitable for your circumstances. A late finish in another activity does not automatically move your class place or admit you after the cutoff. An organiser caused scheduling problem is reviewed separately.

  11. 11. SAFE ENTRY AND RETURN

Follow the instructor's briefing, warm up and movement instructions. Staff may hold entry until it is safe or refuse participation in an activity that cannot safely be joined. Tell a marshal if you need to leave the exercise area temporarily. Returning as the same recorded participant is not a transfer and must be managed by staff. A temporary water, toilet or medical break does not automatically release your occupied place to another person.

  12. 12. STANDBY BOOKINGS

A standby participant must have their own registration, required form, confirmed payment and allocated place. Admission is subject to a safe entry decision and the remaining session time. Where entry is offered after the start, the price and remaining session time must be explained before payment. The session is not extended for a standby entrant. No standby person is admitted merely because the original participant is not visible on the floor.

  13. 13. YOUR CONDITION AND PARTICIPATION

Follow the published participation requirements and tell the instructor about any practical adjustment you need before starting. Work within your ability. Stop and seek assistance if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness or distress. A ticket is not a medical clearance. Relevant health information should be provided through the designated private process, not a public class discussion.

  14. 14. CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT

Wear clothing suitable for the booked activity. Bring the personal items specifically listed for your class. Use equipment only as directed; do not move, adjust or share assigned equipment without permission.

  15. 15. BOXING AND KICK ACTIVITIES

Do not strike, spar with, tackle or make unauthorised physical contact with another participant. Follow only the published and instructed drills. A fitness class booking is not permission for contact fighting.

  16. 16. CHILDREN AND SUPERVISION

Children may participate only in sessions whose published eligibility permits their age and whose required guardian acceptance is complete. Do not bring an unregistered child, companion or spectator into the exercise space. General event admission does not provide childcare. An accompanying adult must make the required supervision arrangements.

  17. 17. CONDUCT

Treat participants, instructors, marshals and other staff respectfully. Harassment, abuse, deliberate disruption, intoxicated participation, threatening conduct or unsafe misuse of equipment may result in removal from the activity or event. A complaint or a request to exercise a legal right is not misconduct. Any incident, removal and related financial decision must be recorded separately.

  18. 18. PHOTOGRAPHY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

Do not obstruct a class to record content. Respect a person who does not want you to photograph or film them. Do not publish another person's QR code, private registration information or medical information. FAMREPS handles its own photography and promotional permissions through the applicable separate notice and choices. Participation is not blanket consent to unrelated advertising.

  19. 19. CLEANING AND CHANGEOVERS

Leave the exercise area promptly when directed at the end of a session, place equipment where instructed and take your belongings. The team has a scheduled cleaning and preparation interval before the next class. Do not occupy equipment or reserve a floor position for an unregistered friend during that interval.

  20. 20. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND REQUESTS

Use the FAMREPS booking support or refund review process. Not attending, arriving after the cutoff, leaving voluntarily or failing to follow the disclosed entry requirements does not automatically entitle you to a full refund. Refunds are assessed under the terms accepted for the booking and applicable law. Relevant evidence may be requested for disputed arrival records or exceptional claims. Ordinary cancellation rights do not depend on inventing an exceptional reason.

  21. 21. RELEASED PLACES AND FINANCIAL REVIEW

Losing the right to attend a particular session is separate from deciding the financial outcome. FAMREPS records whether a released place is resold and takes that information into account in a refund review. It does not automatically retain the entire payment merely because the attendance cutoff was reached. A decision on one class does not automatically cancel other paid classes or general event admission.

  22. 22. WEATHER AND EVENT CHANGES

Follow any instruction to stop, delay, move or evacuate. Outdoor conditions, equipment concerns or other safety issues may require changes. FAMREPS will communicate material changes to the class, instructor, time, location or service and provide the applicable booking options. Ordinary rain does not automatically mean cancellation. Organiser cancellation, material shortening or failure to provide a purchased service is assessed under the applicable terms and law, not labelled as customer nonattendance.

  23. 23. SUPPORT AND DISPUTES

Use the class support desk or the contact route on your confirmation for a booking, arrival or payment problem. Provide your booking reference and a clear explanation. Staff may record relevant timings and incident details. Management reviews disputed outcomes. Nothing in these class rules excludes rights that South African law does not allow to be excluded.

BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

At checkout each of these is a separate statement you choose to accept. None is ticked for you.

  • Class selection and price

I understand that each selected class costs R250 per person and that other classes and race entries are not included.

  • Personal booking

I understand that this booking is for the named participant and that the class place and QR code cannot be transferred or shared.

  • Arrival and place release

I understand that I must be ready at the designated class check in point at least 10 minutes before the start and that my right to that class place expires if I have not reported by 10 minutes after the start, subject to the stated organiser delay protections.

  • Rules and cancellations

I have had the opportunity to read the Class rules and the applicable FAMREPS customer terms, including cancellations, event changes and refund reviews.

GROUP EXERCISE ACTIVITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This notice supplements the applicable FAMREPS participation indemnity. It is not a replacement for that document and does not remove any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Group exercise may involve repeated movement, changes of direction, stepping, intervals, bodyweight or resistance exercises and stretching. Possible risks include falls, collisions, strains, sprains, fatigue, heat related illness and aggravation of an existing condition. A serious incident can cause significant injury or death. These risks require attention to the class briefing, your own condition, equipment instructions and directions from staff.

I have had the opportunity to read this notice and the applicable personal indemnity. I understand the nature of the booked activities, will follow the relevant instructions, will not undertake unauthorised contact drills and will stop and seek assistance if I experience concerning symptoms. I understand that booking a place is not a medical clearance.

Adult acceptance: I make this acknowledgement for my own participation in the selected classes.

Guardian acceptance, where the class permits a child: I confirm that I have the authority recorded in the FAMREPS guardian process and make this acknowledgement for the named child's participation in the selected classes.

Each participant accepts personally, or a recorded parent or legal guardian accepts for a child where the class permits that age, through the FAMREPS personal form. Reading this page does not record an acceptance.
